meest geavanceerde gratis woordenboek van de Limburgse taal. Het is beschikbaar online \u00e9n als app in de App Store en Google Play.<\/p><p dir=\"auto\" data-sourcepos=\"21:1-21:214\">D&#8217;n Dictionair is tweetalig met vertalingen naar het Nederlands en Engels. In die twee talen kan ook gezocht worden door bijvoorbeeld een Nederlands trefwoord in het Nederlands \u2013 Limburgs woordenboek in te typen.<\/p><p dir=\"auto\" data-sourcepos=\"23:1-23:174\">D&#8217;n Dictionair bevat Limburgse woorden uit Maastricht, Roermond, Sittard, Valkenburg en Venlo. Zoeken is mogelijk op \u00e9\u00e9n dialect, verschillende dialecten of alle dialecten.<\/p><p dir=\"auto\" data-sourcepos=\"25:1-25:201\">Limburgse trefwoorden bevatten informatie zoals uitspraak, ge\u00efnflecteerde vormen en voorbeelden. Voorbeelden kunnen uit meerdere dialecten komen. Bij elk voorbeeld staat duidelijk het dialect vermeld.<\/p><p dir=\"auto\" data-sourcepos=\"27:1-27:233\">Voor het Limburgs wordt de Spelling 2003 voor de Limburgse Dialecten gehanteerd, toegepast op een bepaald dialect. Lezers hebben woorden en citaten uit Limburgstalige literatuur gehaald. Die zijn ingevoerd in een database en vervolgens bewerkt en vertaald. Daarbij was het niet mogelijk om veel van de spellingsvariatie te vermelden. In 2016 is dit project afgesloten. De oude Limburgse Woordenboeken worden nu niet meer aangevuld. De nieuwe Limburgse Woordenboeken worden gebaseerd op analyses van heel veel verschillende digitale teksten met behulp van software; ze zullen veel nauwkeuriger instrumenten zijn om de Limburgse taal en al haar dialecten te beschrijven.<\/p>\n<h3><b style=\"font-size: 18px; color: inherit; font-family: inherit;\">Hoe worden de nieuwe Limburgse Woordenboeken gemaakt?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>De basis voor de nieuwe Limburgse Woordenboeken is een digitaal corpus of verzameling van Limburgse teksten. In ons <a href=\"\/nl\/corpus\/\">Limburgs Corpus<\/a> zitten zoveel mogelijk digitale teksten in alle Limburgse dialecten. Met behulp van software worden die teksten geanalyseerd. Wij onderzoeken onder meer wat voor woorden voorkomen, met welke spellingsvariatie, hoe vaak (frequentie), op welke locatie (in welk dialect) en in combinatie met welke andere woorden. Voor alle teksten (afkomstig van heel veel verschillende auteurs) kunnen wij op deze manier de patronen van het taalgebruik voor heel het Limburgs en voor elk dialect afzonderlijk beschrijven. Deze informatie wordt dan in een modern en gebruikersvriendelijk online woordenboek aangeboden, via een app en de desktop.<br><span style=\"color: inherit; font-family: inherit;\"><br><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: inherit; font-family: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><b>Hoe gaan de nieuwe Limburgse Woordenboeken werken voor alle dialecten?<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Een gebruiker moet in ieder geval in de spelling van zijn of haar dialect kunnen zoeken. Als iemand bijvoorbeeld het woord &#8216;sjtaon&#8217; zoekt dan zal dat in die spelling als zoekresultaat komen. Andere spellingsvariatie van &#8216;sjtaon&#8217;, zoals bijvoorbeeld stoan, st\u00fan, stoon, staon, sta\u00f2n of sjtoa, zullen op een andere webpagina beschikbaar zijn. Met behulp van gebruikersonderzoek gaan wij ook inventariseren welke extra informatie handig is om bij het zoekresultaat beschikbaar te hebben.
